Adele Walker was born in West Yorkshire in 1971. She worked in Engineering for 20 years before studying Fine Art for Design at Batley College of Art. She has produced commissioned work, exhibited and illustrated for several journals. She has permanent work in the Black Film Centre/Archive at Indiana University. Adele lives and works in North Lincolnshire with her husband where she continues to draw and make stuff.
